Mark Shea didn’t enter real estate and finance by accident, he came up through it, one deal at a time. Early in his career, Mark found himself on both sides of the table, working through acquisitions, navigating financing structures, and seeing firsthand how often deals fell apart not because they didn’t make sense, but because the capital behind them wasn’t built to perform. It didn’t take long to realize that in this business, knowing real estate is only half the equation. Understanding capital, how it moves, where it breaks, and how to structure around risk, is what actually gets deals done.
Over the years, Mark developed a reputation for stepping into situations others avoided. Complex transactions, tight timelines, unconventional assets, cases where most would hesitate, he leaned in. It was that approach, measured, analytical, but quietly confident, that attracted the initial group of investors behind what would become Fifty Stones Capital Group.
